You’ve waited over 20 years for Acura to bring back the Integra and it’s finally here, you might even already have one in your driveway.

The all-new Acura Integra is engineered to use Acura OEM parts and fluids and, although Acura’s parts and service (as of this writing) has not updated their parts catalog to reflect their newest entry-level vehicle, that doesn’t mean we can’t list out all the fluids, filters, and components it uses.

Since we know the Intega’s engine and drivetrain is heavily based on the 11th gen Honda Civic, the Si trim to be specific (L15CA), with Acura’s official 2023 Integra owner’s manual (linked above) and with knowledge of shared componentry, we can make some educated guesses.

Until Acura updated their parts catalog, here’s everything you need to know, as far as fluids, filters and components goes, to keep your new Integra well maintained.

And, when Acura unveils their new Type S trim, I’ll also update this blog post accordingly.

Capacity (Including the oil filter) for the 1.5L Turbocharged engines

“You may also use synthetic motor oil if it is labeled with the API Certification Seal and is the specified viscosity grade.”

Unleaded Premium gasoline, pump octane number 91 or higher.

According to the owner’s manual,

“Use of a lower octane gasoline can cause occasional metallic knocking noise in the engine and will result in decreased engine performance. Use of a gasoline with a pump octane less than 87 can lead to engine damage.”

Note, per the owner’s manual, Acura does not explicitly say that 87 Octane is OK but, rather says metallic knocking noise can occur. This, to me, reads like you can use 87 Octane, your turbocharged engine will adjust accordingly, and you won’t cause engine damage.

It is probably a best practice to only use 87 Octane ONLY when Premium fuel (91+ octane) is not an option, otherwise, Acura Integra owners should exclusively use 91+ octane.

Capacity for the cooling systems

The Acura Integra tanks holds 12.39 US gal (46.9L)
